Previously, in the price management session on March 25, 2026, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance decided to continue to apply the gasoline and oil price management plan combining the adjustment of domestic gasoline and oil prices and the use of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund. The level of spending using the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund is as follows:
- Biofuel: 3,000 VND/liter.
- Leadless gasoline: 3,000 VND/liter.
- Diesel oil: 4,000 VND/liter.
- Kerosene: 3,000 VND/liter.
- Mazut oil: 3,000 VND/kg.
After implementing the provision and use of the Price Stabilization Fund, gasoline and oil prices on the market are as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 28,075 VND/liter (down 2,039 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by 1,882 VND/liter.
- RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 29,957 VND/liter (down 3,883 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price).
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 37. 899 VND/liter (down 1. 767 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price).
not higher than 36,355 VND/liter (down 4,100 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price).
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 20, 245 VND/kg (down 2,364 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the military conflict between the US, Israel and Iran continues to take place; information about the US President's temporary suspension of attacks on Iran's energy facilities and US - Iran negotiations to end the conflict; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine still takes place... The above factors caused the world finished gasoline and oil prices on March 24, 2026 to fluctuate downwards.
According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the selling price of gasoline and oil in neighboring countries of Vietnam on March 25, 2026, regarding gasoline prices is as follows: Singapore: 70,424 VND/liter; Thailand: 28,210 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 35,850 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Laos: 50,264 VND/liter; China: 34,875 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 29,957 VND/liter (RON95-III gasoline). Thus, Vietnam's gasoline price is currently at an average level in the region and lower than countries sharing the same border.
