On March 19, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Energy Association (NLVN) presented the decision to appoint the position of Vice President of the Association to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, Deputy General Director (PTGD) of T&T Group, Chairman of T&T Energy Group Joint Stock Company (T&T Energy).
Vietnam Energy Association will represent the interests of enterprises
Speaking at the appointment ceremony, the new Vice President of the State Bank Association Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh affirmed that the State Bank Association is a long-standing, large-scale and prestigious industry association in Vietnam. Over the years, the NLVN Association has made many contributions to the development of the Vietnamese energy industry; especially in the new context when energy has increasingly become an important sector of the country.
With the trust and confidence of the Association, in her new position - Vice President of the NLVN Association, she will have the opportunity to contribute more to the development of the Vietnamese energy industry in general and the development of the Vietnam Energy Association in particular.
This is an honor and at the same time a great responsibility before all members, especially in the context of the energy industry facing many new opportunities and challenges as well as many bottlenecks of projects that have been invested in in in the previous period that have not been unblocked and resolved.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh hopes to make practical contributions to the realization of the Association's orientations and plans; contributing to the development of the Vietnam Energy Association, becoming a prestigious organization for government agencies, businesses or international partners who need policy or energy development orientation consultation.
At the ceremony to appoint the new position, the new PCT of Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh Association also presented a number of orientations and action plans in the coming time to build and develop the Association around key issues such as consulting, criticism and policy making activities.
Promote the development of cooperative relations with international and domestic organizations to learn, share experiences, and seek support from international and domestic organizations; expand and develop members. Accompanying and acting as a bridge between businesses and State management agencies...
"Currently, the energy sector is facing existing difficulties. And when members such as T&T Energy - a company directly involved in investment and trading of energy projects - join the Association. We directly understand the difficulties of businesses, will make practical proposals and contributions to the Association.
We hope that the Vietnam Energy Association will become a destination for energy businesses, so that when businesses encounter difficulties or want to propose policies, they can come to the Association. The Vietnam Energy Association will accompany businesses and represent their rights" - Chairman of T&T Energy expressed.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice President (first) of the NLVN Association, the energy industry is currently facing many fluctuations, especially the issue of energy transition, creating opportunities for many new green and clean energy sources, but at the same time, there are many challenges because everything is at the beginning, and we must find a way to go.
In the recent past, T&T Group has made many contributions to the Association in particular and the national energy industry in general. T&T Energy becoming a member of the NLVN Association and the Chairman of T&T Energy being appointed as Vice Chairman of the Association will contribute to promoting the effective and quality development and enhancing the prestige of the Association in the coming time.
T&T Group and cross-border energy investment strategy
Also at the event, PTGD T&T Group said that to realize the goal of becoming the leading energy developer in Vietnam, T&T Group has established T&T Energy Group (T&T Energy).
Up to now, Bau Hien's group has implemented accumulated investment with a total capacity of 2800 Mw. Of which, 10 wind power and solar power plants in Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Soc Trang, Gia Lai provinces will be completed and put into operation with a total installed capacity and connection to the national grid reaching nearly 1,000 MW.
In addition, T&T Group and a group of Korean investors are currently investing in the LNG Gas Center Phase 1 project in Quang Tri with a total capacity of 1,500 MW, with an investment capital of about 2.3 billion USD, expected to operate in 2029.
In addition, T&T Group is continuing to develop and invest in many renewable energy projects, low-carbon emission projects such as solar power, offshore and offshore wind power, bulk matter power, LNG power, converting coal-fired thermal power plants to LNG, power plants producing energy storage battery systems (BESS), researching new types of energy such as hydrogen, am amoniac, etc.
Thereby, providing electricity to the national grid, selling electricity to FDI enterprises under the DPPA direct power purchase and sale mechanism, providing energy storage solutions for PV plants, and providing green electricity sources to produce green hydrogen. Many projects have been approved in the Power Plan VIII implementation plan and are continuing to be added to the adjusted Power Plan VIII.
T&T Group is preparing the necessary conditions to deploy investment and construction and put the projects into operation in the 2026-2030 period.
The goal by 2035 is to reach 16 GW - 18 GW of total power sources, accounting for about 10% of the total power source capacity of the Vietnamese power system and becoming the leading energy storage solution (BESS) supplier in Vietnam.
To implement projects, Bao Hien's corporation has cooperated with many of the world's leading partners in the energy sector such as: Hanwha, Kogas, Kospo, SK E&S (Korea); erex, Marubeni, Sojittz, JPower (Japan); Cospower, Gedi, Goldwind (China), BP, (UK), Vinacom (Laos) ... In particular, Standard Charted Bank has committed to a funding package of 6 billion USD for green energy projects of T&T Group.
