Ha Nam builds a civilized and modern urban area
With the expectation that Ha Nam will change its urban appearance, gradually becoming a regional and world-class destination, the Chairman of Ha Nam affirmed that the province pays great attention to inviting investors with heart and vision to join hands in creating high-class and quality tourism products, while closely connecting tourism products and destinations together.
Mr. Truong Quoc Huy said: “Recently, we have invited large investors to Ha Nam, including large corporations with strengths in developing large-scale and classy tourism projects such as Sun Group and Flamingo. In Phu Ly City, a large-scale project, Sun Urban City, is currently being implemented with a scale of up to 420 hectares and a total investment of 35,000 billion VND. The project promises to bring a new look to Phu Ly City with multiple objectives: Building a civilized and modern urban area, bringing a multi-utility life to the people; Changing the economic structure of Ha Nam province, shifting from agriculture to industry and service economy”.
Launched to the market at the end of October, but in just a short time, the Sun Urban City resort urban project has quickly taken shape. These days in November, the construction site is bustling with people coming and going with nearly 2,000 workers working day and night to meet the expected progress of handing over high-rise apartments in June 2025; Sun World Water Park is being installed and is expected to be operational on April 30, 2025.
The appearance of the resort city with systematic investment in scale, infrastructure and modern, synchronous transportation is gradually emerging, contributing to accelerating the development of the locality. In the future, Sun Urban City Ha Nam will not only create a new look for the land but also improve the quality of life for the people, attracting many investors, international experts, tourists, even the rich, foreigners and high-quality human resources to live, work and enjoy life here.
“People whose land is recovered for this urban project will be arranged to change jobs to tourism and commercial services, they will have better jobs and higher income. We also expect that this urban area with the integration of many parks such as Sun World Park, sports park, festival park, cultural park, ecological park, etc., will bring Ha Nam a modern urban area, in harmony between modern elements and nature. When completed, Sun Urban City Ha Nam will certainly be an ideal suburban resort city for tourists from Hanoi and the Red River Delta region on every holiday and weekend,” Mr. Huy believes.
Sun Urban City will change Phu Ly
From the perspective of urban management, the Chairman of Ha Nam province commented: “The new project in Phu Ly city has a very low construction density - about 18%, but it contributes greatly to the provincial budget. From this budget source, we will focus on investing in traffic infrastructure, schools, hospitals and other social facilities to bring a better quality of life to local people. I hope that Sun Urban City will be a project that will "change the face" of Phu Ly city, and at the same time create momentum for Ha Nam to gradually rise to become a land worth visiting and living in the whole country".
With a well-planned plan and the support of large investors with heart, vision, financial capacity and experience such as Sun Group, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy is optimistic that in just 5 years, Ha Nam will have a spectacular change in infrastructure, transportation and tourism. From there, it will reach the set milestone, which is to strive to become a Type I urban area by 2030, a satellite city of the capital Hanoi.
“Ha Nam tourism will be invested and promoted to its full potential. Tourists coming to Ha Nam will not only participate in spiritual activities, but also enjoy and experience unique cultural and artistic activities along with many high-class, high-quality and different entertainment services. Certainly, in the coming time, the number of tourists coming to Ha Nam will increase. We expect to welcome 10 million visitors by 2030 and importantly, Ha Nam will truly become a destination that domestic and international tourists cannot miss when coming to Vietnam,” Mr. Huy emphasized.
