The journey of innovation: from rice paper to fish sausage
If previously, pangasius products were mainly exported in frozen film form, now LC Foods has boldly developed deep-processed product lines. At the H17 - H20 booth, a series of new products are introduced: 100% fish fillet Bento sausages, Tu Xuyen fish sauce, Hong Kong garlic chili sauce, dim sum seafood, fish shrimp sausage, potato roll shrimp, high-end hotpot balls...
international consumers increasingly demand that food is not only delicious and nutritious but also convenient and easy to prepare. That is the reason why LC Foods focuses on developing value-added products, so that pangasius is not only an ingredient but also becomes a modern dish on international dining tables, said Mr. Dang Van Lam, R&D Director of LC Foods.
Unexpected international buyers
This innovation quickly attracted the attention of many importing groups. A buyer (buyer) from the Philippines expressed a strong impression of the new line of fish sausage and raised the issue of cooperation right at the fair. A representative of a European company was surprised:
"We used to import sausages for chicken, pork, beef, but this is the first time sausages are made entirely from fish. The taste is delicious and the feeling is light, different from traditional sausages".
Meanwhile, businesses from China and Korea are interested in processed OEMs such as bacon roasting ducks or fried fish - a testament to the diversity of the LC Foods product portfolio.
Guaranteed by international standards
To be able to step into the global playground, product innovation alone is not enough. LC Foods and member companies in the ecosystem (KMS Vina, Hoang Long, Cadovimex II) have built international standard production capacity with prestigious certifications: ASC, BAP, BRC, FSSC, HALAL, Global G.A.P, SMETA, IFS. This is a mandatory passport to access large retail chains and meet strict requirements from buyers.

Strategic step for the future
In the context of Vietnam's seafood exports facing many challenges in terms of tariffs and competition, focusing on value-added products is a vital strategy. Not only does it help increase the value of each ton of exported fish, but it also elevates the image of Vietnamese pangasius from "cheap materials" to an international brand product.
VIS 2025 is not only a place to display products, but also a strategic bridge. From here, Vietnamese enterprises can directly enter the global supply chain with the new role of processed product manufacturer, not just raw material supplier, Mr. Lam emphasized.
The quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine on the world map
By pioneering the introduction of pangasius into sausages, dimsum, hotpot and many other convenient dishes, LC Foods is proving that a traditional ingredient can completely "transform" into a modern product, catching up with global trends.
With a clear orientation, sustainable production platform and increasingly increased interest from international buyers, LC Foods is gradually realizing its aspiration: bringing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine far, contributing to increasing the value of Vietnamese seafood exports in the global supply chain.
