At the final night, Techcombank awarded an international AI study abroad scholarship worth up to 1 million USD to the first prize-winning team - Converged team. This is the largest prize ever awarded in an artificial intelligence competition in Vietnam, demonstrating the long-term commitment of the bank to contribute to promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, as well as creating conditions for AI talents to participate in the journey to build a national digital future.

Also within the framework of the event, Mr. Tran Van Khai - Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - General Director of Vietnam Television, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong - Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security - Vice Chairman of the National Data Association; Mr. Jens Lottner - General Director of Techcombank - representative of the Organizing Committee officially launched the 2nd season of the "A.I Real War" contest in 2026, with the scale and scope of participation expanded compared to the first season. Accordingly, Techcombank continues to play the role of co-organizer and exclusive sponsor of the program, affirming its long-term investment strategy in the development of artificial intelligence human resources - a field identified as the key growth engine of Vietnam's digital economy.

Convincing competition

The first prize was awarded to 3 members of the Converged team, including Luong Son Tinh, Doan Viet Thang and Nguyen Hoang Anh, with highly applicable products, building a system that fully integrates teaching – learning – assessment and improvement in a first and only A.I platform dedicated to Vietnamese education. The solution helps shorten the time to prepare lesson plans to about 15 minutes, contributing to supporting teachers to be more proactive in teaching and closely follow the learning process of students.

In the final round, the teams must demonstrate system mastery, from data processing, quality control, information noise reduction to training strategies and evaluation indicators. The Judging Council especially focuses on the ability to analyze, transparent methodology and willingness to deploy models in practice - criteria that accurately reflect the need for A.I application at the enterprise and national scale. The champion team of this year's season has shown outstanding advantages when demonstrating that the solution not only achieves high efficiency but can also expand, operate stably and adapt to complex real-world scenarios.

This approach has made the confrontation at the Final night of "A.I Real War" have a different color, because not just writing the best model will win, but the team that proves its ability to master data, understands business problems and has a sense of responsibility to the community, and convinces the "cold heads" and "hot hearts" of the Judging Council is the winning team.

In addition to the First Prize, the Organizing Committee also awarded 01 Second Prize, 02 Third Prizes and 08 Promising Prizes to recognize and encourage teams with development potential with total prize value, contributing to the A.I Vietnam ecosystem in the future.

Conquering A.I global study abroad scholarships

Convincing victory in the Final round, the Converged champion team was awarded a cash prize of 1 billion VND, and at the same time won the "miracle" award from Techcombank - a scholarship of up to 1 million US dollars. The award with the largest value in a competition on artificial intelligence in Vietnam has contributed to affirming the sustainable development orientation, in which businesses and countries jointly proactively invest early, large enough and long-term for people - key technological talents, meeting the development requirements of the country in the new period.

The scholarship opens up opportunities for A.I Vietnamese talents to be trained at leading universities in the world in artificial intelligence before returning to contribute to the country's technological development. This is considered a practical approach to limit the'breeding of technological brains' in the context of rapidly increasing A.I human resource demand and increasing recruitment costs, thereby helping Vietnam gradually master technology and improve national competitiveness.

Creating a combat environment for talent A.I

With Techcombank, "A.I Real War" is not limited to the role of sponsoring a competition, but is part of a long-term strategy to build a generation of A.I talents ready for the future.

Sharing at the event, Dr. Jens Lottner - General Director of Techcombank emphasized "A.I is no longer a distant vision but is directly changing the way we work, compete and grow. Investing in artificial intelligence talent today is investing in the long-term competitiveness of the nation. Accordingly, Techcombank and the Masterise Group, One Mount ecosystem are committed to building a technology ecosystem where talents have access to big data, leading advanced technology to create useful solutions for customers. At the same time, we continue to create maximum conditions for talents to participate in the journey to contribute to the country's development in the new era. Once again, we congratulate all the winning teams. And I believe they are creating a strong model for the future of Vietnamese artificial intelligence.

Closing the first season, "A.I Real War" has initially affirmed its role as a platform for discovering, fostering and connecting Vietnamese AI talents.
