MB supports more than 14 billion VND for people affected by storms and floods

MB calls on its staff to support flood victims and deploys a VND2,000 billion loan package to help rebuild the lives of customers affected by natural disasters.

On the afternoon of September 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense donated 40 billion VND to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of damage caused by storm No. 3. Of which, MB contributed 10 billion VND with the desire to help people soon stabilize their lives and restore production.

Previously, in the spirit of mutual love, MB donated 2 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3 through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, 1 billion VND to the Cao Bang Provincial Fatherland Front, 500 million VND to the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province...

In addition, after implementing the program "Contribute a day's work - Share with compatriots", MB's grassroots union continues to call on all employees of the entire bank to participate in fundraising through the Charity platform (thiennguyen.app) with the desire to contribute and accompany people in flood-hit areas.

Support to rebuild people's lives after storms and floods

In addition to direct support to localities, MB recently supported a preferential loan package of up to 2,000 billion VND with a loan interest rate reduced by up to 1% for individual customers and business households with a variety of purposes to rebuild their lives after storms and floods.

Specifically, MB reduces lending interest rates by up to 1%/year compared to current rates for personal customer loans from now until December 31, 2024 with a variety of lending purposes: Construction and repair of houses, interior decoration, repair of production and business facilities, loans for working capital for production and business, consumer loans for life.

At the same time, the bank also supports a variety of credit forms such as loans, overdrafts, guarantees, credit cards... to help people flexibly use capital according to their needs.
