On the morning of November 6, information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Da Teh district said that local people and authorities are still overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster that just occurred in the area.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 5, in residential group 7, Da Teh town and village 7, Da Kho commune, heavy rain occurred, accompanied by a tornado lasting more than 30 minutes.
Heavy rain and tornadoes swept through, uprooting and breaking more than 330 crops of various types belonging to about 15 households in 2 localities.
Residential group 7, Da Teh town was the center of the tornado that swept through, causing heavy damage to houses and crops.
Preliminary statistics show that a total of 217 durian trees belonging to more than 10 households in business were uprooted and broken by the tornado.
In addition, about 100 jackfruit, grapefruit and cashew trees of many households were uprooted and broken by the tornado, causing damage.
In residential group 7, authorities also recorded that 3 houses had their roofs slightly blown off by about 30%, causing damage to about 1.5 hectares of corn...
In Da Kho commune, heavy rain accompanied by a tornado tore off the roofs of 2 houses and uprooted and broke more than 10 durian trees of 3 households in village 7.
Immediately after the tornado occurred, the People's Committee of Da Teh district directed functional agencies to coordinate with Da Teh town and Da Kho commune to deploy measures to overcome the consequences.
Currently, functional units are focusing on calculating the damage to have a support plan for the people.
