The signing ceremony is the result of discussions, vision sharing and strategy building between MobiFone and VEC. This cooperation aims to take advantage of each party's strengths, especially in digital infrastructure services, digital solutions and digital services.
According to the memorandum of understanding on cooperation, regarding digital infrastructure, the two sides will study solutions to improve mobile services along VEC's expressways to increase benefits and experiences for customers; fiber optic infrastructure along VEC's expressways; leased line transmission services, Internet services for offices and camera systems, rest stops, toll stations along VEC's expressways; Data Center infrastructure to store highway system management data...
Regarding digital solution services, MobiFone and VEC will research digital transformation in management and operation activities and investment and construction activities, highway exploitation management; models of applying digital technology and artificial intelligence in asset management, monitoring, and highway management and operation.
Both sides will also promote the development of e-commerce and cashless payment accounts to help customers conveniently use services.
