Electricity output exceeds target
The new period of 2025-2030 opens with the expectation of continuing to strongly transform, modernize and improve management capacity in the context of merging and streamlining the organizational structure, Dak Nong PC will move from Central Power Corporation to Southern Power Corporation and merge with Lam Dong Power Company and Binh Thuan Power Company.
In the past term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the PC Dak Nong Party Committee has demonstrated its comprehensive leadership role in implementing political and production and business tasks; proactively implementing many flexible solutions in production and business operations to ensure excellent completion of tasks for the 2020-2025 term.
Over the past 5 years, the unit's technical economic targets have basically met and exceeded the plan. Specifically, annual commercial electricity output increased by an average of 2.75% compared to the plan, exceeding the target of the resolution; power losses, an average annual decrease of 0.12%/year compared to the plan; the rate of households using national grid electricity reached 99.6%; the company always ensures safe and continuous power supply, not allowing subjective incidents to occur.
During the term, 84 billion VND was paid to the state budget, implementing social security work with a total support amount of 3.85 billion VND. Ensure job life and pay full insurance for employees.
The company has directed its affiliated units to coordinate in investing in building power grids for new rural communes, contributing to the completion of electricity criteria, meeting the electricity needs for daily life, production and business of people in the province.
In the past 5 years, the company has completed the investment in hundreds of medium and low voltage power grid projects, dozens of 110kV power grid projects and smart power grid projects; timely power supply for industrial parks, resettlement areas, new residential areas, typically the power supply project for Tam Thang Industrial Park, power supply for Nhan Co Industrial Park, power supply for 100% of villages, hamlets, residential groups...
Currently, all 110kV stations managed by the company are automatically operated without manpower, implementing the policy of modernizing the power grid, promoting the application of digital transformation and information technology in the fields of production and business activities, contributing to ensuring stable operation of the power grid, reducing operating costs.
The Party Committee has focused on Party building, constantly innovating leadership methods, promoting democracy in enterprises, improving the quality of Party cell activities, and seriously implementing inspections and supervision according to the periodic program.
To date, the company's Party Committee has 12 subordinate Party cells, with a total of 197 Party members, of which 184 are official Party members and 13 are reserve Party members. Every year, 80% of Party cells complete their tasks well or better; 100% of Party members and 95% of the masses participate in studying the Party's directives and resolutions and the State's laws and policies.
Digital transformation, improving customer service quality
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Dak Nong PC Party Committee clearly defines the key goal: Continuing to improve comprehensive leadership capacity, building a clean and strong Party Committee, promoting innovation in thinking, applying technology and extensive digital transformation throughout the company. In addition, the company will also focus on completing production and business targets, ensuring stable and quality electricity supply, serving local socio-economic development.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Party Secretary, Director of Dak Nong Power Company said: "The Dak Nong Party Committee determined the new term direction of the new term as synchronous implementation of technical management solutions, management and operation, investment, renovation and upgrading of the power grid, especially in rural areas, remote areas, ensuring stable, safe and quality electricity supply to serve the needs of daily life, socio-economic development, national defense and security of the locality.
Improve the quality of party member admissions, not according to targets but paying attention to the quality of party members. In particular, implementing the National Digital Transformation Program and the pioneering digital transformation policy of the industry, the Party Committee has proposed a plan to implement digital transformation in all areas such as governance, engineering, business and customer service, investment and construction... to contribute to improving the quality of customer service, meeting the trend of the 4.0 industrial revolution".
From the results achieved in the 2020-2025 term, an important lesson learned is the spirit of solidarity, consensus and high political determination of the leadership and all employees of Dak Nong Power Company. This is the key factor to help the company overcome difficulties, complete assigned tasks well, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
