Speaking at the ceremony, District 7 Party Secretary Hoang Minh Tuan Anh acknowledged and commended the competitive spirit of outstanding collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions over the past time and said that the emulation movement is not only a number, a specific project, and initiative, but also a solidarity, a patriotism, a responsibility of each District 7 resident for the common development of the locality, and more highly - a deep gratitude to the generations of our ancestors who sacrificed for independence, freedom, and for peace and national reunification.
Comrade Hoang Minh Tuan Anh suggested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations continue to concretize the movement with plans and emulation contents close to reality, with clear criteria to continue to receive the positive response of the people, contributing to building District 7 into a sustainable, civilized, modern, and humane urban development.
On this occasion, the People's Committee of District 7 presented Certificates of Merit to recognize 50 Emulation Projects and reward 19 collectives, 37 individuals, and 2 households with outstanding achievements in implementing the Creative Emulation Movement, especially to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
