Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi tighten regulations on emissions and appropriate technology to attract attention

The Vietnamese government will apply strict emission inspection for cars from 2026 and motorbikes from 2027, demonstrating a strong determination to address air pollution.

Potential solutions: New low-cost technology

In the context of the increasingly serious problem of urban air pollution, the Vietnamese Government is constantly making efforts to implement many solutions to protect people's health and the living environment. In particular, the emissions from vehicles in large cities are clearly affecting environmental quality, making the development of long-term measures an urgent task.

Management agencies are implementing many measures such as controlling emission sources and tightening emission inspection standards according to a clear roadmap. In parallel with those consistent and serious policies, practical technological solutions are also increasingly receiving attention.

Technology helps improve fuel efficiency and improve air quality. Recently, many new technologies have been introduced that can improve fuel combustion efficiency and reduce emissions. The great advantage of these solutions is that they do not require expensive equipment investment or infrastructure changes, but can still be directly applied to existing vehicles and equipment - a direction that is highly appreciated for its efficiency and wide range of applications.

For example, a Korean technology called COR55 works by adjusting the mechanical structure of fuel to optimize combustion. Thanks to that, the product helps reduce fuel consumption, while significantly reducing emissions and toxic coal recovery.

This technology has been certified by the National Environmental Science Institute of Korea for safety and efficiency, and can be applied to many different types of engines and equipment.

In Ho Chi Minh City, this technology has been tested in practice on many devices such as mowers, old motorbikes and small diesel boats. The results showed that the average fine dust (PM) concentration decreased by more than 90%, while fuel consumption also decreased by 10-20%.

Combining policies and technology for sustainable development

Environmental pollution is a systematic problem that cannot be solved in a short time. However, the positive changes that people can feel often start with small actions. When technologies are easy to apply and low costs are deployed in parallel with environmental policies, the opportunity to improve air quality will be accelerated.

In the context of the environment being prioritized with a focus on community health, if private enterprises proactively contribute with clean, effective and easy-to-implement technology, the companionship between the public and private sectors will create a big step forward for the goal of green and sustainable development of Vietnam.

Benefits of COR55

COR55 is a fuel additive that helps increase engine performance and reduce smoke. Thanks to its ability to clean incinerators, spraying needles and intake valves, COR55 helps burn fuel optimally, reduce toxic emissions and protect the environment.

In the transition period, low-cost emission reduction solutions such as COR55 may be considered a temporary option. However, it is necessary to make information transparent so that people understand that this product does not replace periodic maintenance or replacement of new vehicles when the vehicle is too old.

COR55 can play a bridging role in the transition period, contributing to improving urban air quality and supporting policy implementation. The combination of drastic policies and flexible technology solutions will be the key to helping large cities achieve the goal of green - clean - sustainable.
