On April 28, 2025, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province coordinated with T&T Group to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 2 social housing projects and 1 10-storey hotel building at Phuoc Tho 1 & 2 Residential Area Project (Ward 3, Vinh Long City, Vinh Long Province).
This is the first social housing project implemented by T&T Group in the Mekong Delta region, contributing to the effective implementation of the Government's program on developing social housing for low-income people with Vinh Long province.
2 social housing projects were built on a land area of nearly 11,000 m2. In which, Social Housing 1 project consists of 3 blocks of 7-storey buildings with 308 apartments and Social Housing 2 project is a 7-storey building with 55 apartments.
With a modern design, inspired by the dawn light on the Co Chien River, using contrasting colors with the colorful low-rise buildings around, T&T Group will bring social housing projects with unique highlights in a synchronous, modern urban area.
After completion and operation, these 363 social housing units will contribute to solving the problem of housing for low-income people, workers and disadvantaged people in society; thereby improving the quality of life of people, gradually ensuring social security in the locality.
In parallel with the social housing project, on this occasion, T&T Group also started construction of a 10-storey, 1-storey, 1-storey, 1-storey hotel building with a scale of 200 rooms with the international brand Hilton Garden Inn.
Inspired by the natural curves of the southern rivers, along with the characteristics of indigenous culture, traditional craft villages such as the "Red Kingdom" - Mang Thit brick village typical with the dome structure, T&T Group has breathed life into the materials and soft, elegant architectural features of the project.
With this project, T&T Group has also cooperated with Hilton - the world's leading hotel group to operate hotel management according to international standards.
In the future, Vinh Long province will have a hotel project with unique architectural highlights; both modern and imbued with local culture and identity; at the same time, fully providing amenities and high-end services for a large number of domestic and international tourists.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Dang Van Chinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province, said that local leaders have high expectations for these items of the Phuoc Tho 1 & 2 Residential Area project.
The project aims to both solve the needs for social housing for subjects according to regulations, as well as effectively implement the social security policies of the Party, State and Government in the province; promote economy, trade, services, attract tourism with international-class accommodation and resorts, contributing to Vinh Long becoming increasingly beautiful, towards sustainable development, worthy of being a "core city" along the Tien River.
Emphasizing the social housing project, Mr. Dang Van Chinh said: “This is an important task of Vinh Long province in the current context, to gradually realize the goal of building 5,900 social houses in the period of 2025 - 2030 in the province, contributing to the concretization of the project" Investment in construction of at least 1 million social houses for low -income people in the period of the Prime Minister in 2021.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of T&T Group, said that 2 social housing projects and a 10-storey hotel building are the final items of Phuoc Tho 1 & 2 Residential Area Project.
"We are committed to focusing resources and human resources to implement the construction to ensure safety and quality; the goal is to complete and put the social housing project and the hotel project into use in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027 respectively," Mr. Tuan affirmed.
Previously, at Phuoc Tho 1 & 2 Residential Area, T&T Group completed the construction of a low-rise housing area with nearly 500 apartments along with many technical infrastructure items, landscape trees; is constructing a commercial center and kindergarten.
By continuing to implement social housing and hotel projects, T&T Group is gradually realizing the goal of building a synchronous urban area in terms of architecture, technical infrastructure, and social infrastructure towards sustainable development, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vinh Long city in particular and Vinh Long province in general.
