Vietcombank continues to spread knowledge and love in the journey of donating the Green Library "Giving knowledge - Firm future".

On March 20, 2026, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank) continued its journey of spreading knowledge and love when organizing the awarding of the Green Library "Giving Knowledge - Solid Future" and the scholarship "Joining Hands to Advance" in Thieu Quang commune, Thanh Hoa province.

Thanh Hoa - a land of outstanding people, the origin of the Lam Son uprising, the homeland of national hero Le Loi - is not only famous for its heroic history but also a symbol of the tradition of studiousness and aspiration to rise up.

Inauguration ceremony of the Green Library "Giving Knowledge - Solid Future" sponsored by Vietcombank built at Thieu Duy Secondary School, and at the same time awarded 100 "Joining You to Advance" scholarships (worth 1 million VND/scholarship) to poor students overcoming difficulties in Thieu Quang commune.

Each stop is not just a building built, but a "seed of knowledge" sown down, silently sprouting in the journey of maturity of the students.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Hong Quang - Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of Vietcombank Trade Union emphasized: "The Green Library today is not only a donated project, but also a sending of trust and affection from Vietcombank officials and employees, with the desire to spread knowledge and open up good opportunities for students".

Each Green Library is invested with a total budget of 200 million VND, equipped with at least 10 tablets integrating digital libraries, e-books, learning software and at least 200 paper books. The library space is designed to be open and friendly, creating conditions for students to access knowledge in a more modern, proactive and creative way.

Also at the ceremony, Vietcombank coordinated with the Vietnam Children's Fund to award 100 "Together Forward" scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students in difficult circumstances but striving to rise up in their studies at Thieu Duy Primary and Secondary School.

Scholarships are within the framework of the program "Joining Vietnam to Advance - 1 billion steps towards a new era" co-organized by the Ministry of Public Security and Nhan Dan Newspaper in 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2nd and the Traditional Day of the People's Police.
