World silver price
On the world market, as of 10:00 AM on September 15 (Vietnam time), the world silver price was listed at 63.5 USD/ounce, down 0.72 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning.

Causes and forecasts
World silver prices fell as the USD strengthened and US Treasury bond yields rose; currently trading around the threshold of 63 USD/ounce.
The market is focusing its attention on the monetary policy meeting of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), taking place on September 15-16. According to the CME FedWatch tool, traders are assessing the possibility of the Fed raising interest rates by 0.25 percentage points to around 86%.
Rising interest rates can be detrimental to silver because this precious metal does not yield yields. Meanwhile, higher bond yields can cause cash flow to shift to profitable assets, reducing the attractiveness of silver.
Expectations for the Fed's monetary policy have gained more attention after US inflation data released last weekend showed that price pressure is still present. The consumer price index (CPI) in August increased by 0.4% compared to the previous month, higher than the increase in July. Meanwhile, the core CPI, excluding food and energy prices, increased by 0.3%.
In addition, oil price movements are also a factor monitored by the market. Oil price increases in the context of escalating tensions in the Middle East may increase concerns about inflation. This poses an additional problem for the Fed in considering interest rate and borrowing costs management directions.
