Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision assigning tasks of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai was assigned to be Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In addition to the task of monitoring and directing assigned fields, Mr. Hai, on behalf of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leads and directs the general work of the Provincial People's Committee when the Chairman is absent.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai is assigned to assist the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in monitoring and directing the Provincial Inspectorate, the Department of Construction, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of the province and agencies and units in their assigned fields.
Notably, Mr. Hai directly monitored the general implementation of solutions to ensure the "double-digit" growth target in 2026 and the 2026-2030 period; monitored inspection work, anti-corruption, negativity, wastefulness and settlement of complaints and denunciations in the area.
In the field of economy - industry, Mr. Hai is assigned to monitor chemicals, industrial explosives, mineral exploitation and processing, processing industry, electricity, new energy and renewable energy; manage mineral resources, geology, construction materials, economic zones, industrial zones and clusters and provincial planning.
He is also assigned to monitor and direct PPP projects and many key projects of the province.
These include Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway phase 1, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway, Phan Thiet Airport, Phan Thiet Airport Urban Area, high-speed railway, coastal road and a number of large-scale urban, tourism, and industrial projects.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai was also assigned to monitor the area of 6 wards and 16 communes in the province.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai was born in 1973, and is a member of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
Before Lam Dong province was newly established, he was a member of the Standing Committee of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term and used to hold the position of Secretary of Phan Thiet City Party Committee.
Mr. Hai used to be a member of the 14th National Assembly, a member of the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment. He holds a master's degree in science and technology majoring in Bridge - Road and advanced political theory.
