Silver prices soar, buyers have to wait until next year to receive goods

On November 11, domestic silver prices continued to increase. Records of Lao Dong reporters at some stores in Hanoi show that buying silver is generally quite favorable.

However, at some stores, customers said they have to wait a few months to receive the goods after placing an order.

Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung - a customer who came to buy silver at a gold and silver shop on Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hanoi) - said: "At the end of October, I had to queue up to buy silver. Now I'm back to buy more and see that this situation is no longer there. The store is selling unlimitedly and the transaction is also fast. However, after payment, customers must wait until March 17, 2026 to return the goods".

Ms. Nhung added that if customers want to sell while waiting to receive the silver, they will have to sell all the silver they have bought on the invoices, not separately.

Mr. Do Trung Nghia (Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi) said that in October, he had come to buy many times but had to go home empty-handed because the shop announced that there was no more goods, one day he only limited the sale of 5kg per person.

"Today, although the number of customers is still quite large, buying silver is more favorable. Customers must pay 100% of the order value and be scheduled to return the goods in March 2026" - Mr. Nghia shared.
