"This morning, the store announced that each person can only buy a maximum of 5kg of silver. I arrived at 8:40 a.m. but by then the goods were out of stock and the vouchers were no longer distributed. The store only accepts transactions with customers who already have coupons or pre-arranged invoices" - Mr. Duong said.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh (Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi) also had to return because she could not buy silver.
"A few months ago, buying silver was relatively easy, I bought 3kg of silver. However, recently, strong demand has caused a rapid shortage of goods. Today, the shop limits each person to buying a maximum of 5kg, but when I arrived, the goods were out of stock" - Ms. Linh said.
Along Tran Nhan Tong street, while many people lined up to buy but could not, a person appeared right next to the store selling silver shopping vouchers.
"You can buy this voucher right away, you don't have to queue anymore, the selling price is 100,000 VND/voucher" - this person informed.
