Round, smooth gold rings are very difficult to buy and also sell out quickly. I came here since morning but the staff has not announced when they will sell, so I am still waiting."
Similar to Mr. Bach, Ms. Ngo Dieu Linh (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) also wanted to buy gold rings but was unable to do so many times.
"I want to buy gold rings but it's too difficult to buy them now. Besides, not being able to know the store's gold sales schedule makes me waste a lot of time.
Many days ago, I came to the store in the afternoon, before I could even enter the store, the staff announced that all the gold rings were sold out. Today, I came since morning to wait to buy, not knowing if they would sell out or not" - Ms. Linh said.
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, an employee at a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi) said: "Due to the current scarcity of gold rings, the shop has not been able to open for sale to customers this morning. However, there are times when there is stock, we still sell normally, without any limit for each person."
Gold price update
As of 10:26 a.m. on November 27, the price of SJC gold bars listed by DOJI Group was at VND82.8 - 85.3 million/tael (buy - sell). The difference between the buying and selling prices of SJC gold at DOJI Group was VND2.5 million/tael.
Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 82.8 - 85.3 million VND/tael (buy - sell). The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau is 2.5 million VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold ring at DOJI was listed at 83.5 - 84.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell); an increase of 1.2 million VND/tael for buying and an increase of 100,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 82.68 - 84.68 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 450,000 VND/tael for buying and an increase of 250,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 10:31 a.m. on November 27 (Vietnam time) is at 2,639.275 USD/ounce.
