The price is still high but it is very difficult for people to buy gold. Today I was still able to stand in line, but many times when I arrived at the door, the staff announced that everything was sold out. However, I don't know if I can buy it today because it is past opening hours and they have not announced when it will be sold out."
Having not been able to buy any gold rings for many days, Mr. Nguyen The Toan (Dong Da, Hanoi) said: "I don't know exactly when the stores open to sell gold rings, so I always run out.
Today I've been waiting since 8am when the store hasn't opened yet, but almost 2 hours have passed and they still haven't announced that they're opening. Since I have a lot of work to do, I'll probably just wait a little longer and then go home, and come back another day to wait again."
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, an employee at a gold shop on Cau Giay street (Hanoi) said:
"Because of the shortage of plain gold rings, the store has sold a certain number of rings per day for many days now. For example, the day before, the store could only sell 1 tael of gold ring per person."

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of SJC gold at 80.3 - 83.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell). The difference between the buying and selling price of SJC gold at Saigon SJC Jewelry Company is at 3.2 million VND/tael.
At the same time, the price of 9999 Hung Thinh Vuong round gold rings at DOJI was listed at 81 - 82.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Bao Tin Minh Chau also adjusted the price of plain round gold rings to increase to 81.03 - 82.68 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The world gold price listed on Kitco at 11:46 on November 17 (Vietnam time) is at 2,563.2 USD/ounce.
