Gold bars and gold rings increase sharply after 3 months
After a period of strong fluctuations, domestic gold prices on September 10, 2026 were significantly higher than on June 10, 2026. However, the actual profit margin of gold buyers 3 months ago was not too large when calculated according to the current purchase price of businesses.
Data at major brands shows that although SJC gold bars and 9999 gold rings both increased, the profit of buyers only fluctuated around 2.5-3.6 million VND/tael.

Gold prices rise sharply but profits are eroded
A noteworthy point is that although gold prices have increased in the past 3 months, the actual profit of buyers is much lower than the increase in the listed price.
The reason comes from the gap between the buying and selling prices of businesses. At the time of June 10, the buying - selling difference was commonly at 5 million VND/tael. Currently, this gap has narrowed to about 3-4 million VND/tael, but it is still a factor that significantly affects profits.
In the context of unpredictable world gold prices, the domestic market may be under downward pressure if the international trend goes down.
People should not buy gold out of fear of missing opportunities (FOMO) when buying gold. Buying in high prices, especially in the context that the buying-selling price difference is still at several million VND per tael, can cause buyers to suffer losses if gold prices reverse. In addition, investors should avoid using financial leverage to buy gold, because debt repayment pressure and unfavorable price fluctuations can increase the risk of losses.
