Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee said that the advantage of the locality is in freight transportation. Therefore, Hai Phong is both the economic center of the Red River Delta and the gateway to trade between the North and the world.
Regarding the Van Nam - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh economic corridor, Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong proposed to optimize goods flow and transportation costs.
The Lao Cai - Hai Phong railway line can transport a large volume of goods at competitive costs, reducing the load on the road, thereby saving time and optimizing logistics costs.
Strengthening international connectivity, the combination of railways and seaports allows goods from southwestern China to quickly clear through Lao Cai, gather and export right at Hai Phong port.
At the event, Saigontel investor representative emphasized the factor of effectively linking localities, regional linkages, and national linkages. In particular, it is necessary to promote scientific and technological factors, taking them as the key to success.


Currently, Saigontel is supporting and helping Vietnam develop a high-tech park, directly related to Lao Cai's mineral resources.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee - informed that Lao Cai's strengths are mineral reserves, tourism development, unique agricultural production, and border gate economy through transportation connections.
