Attending the funeral of Ms. Ha Thi Binh, born in 1985, in Hamlet 7, Khanh Hoi Commune, Ninh Binh Province, many people could not help but feel sorry for her family's poor circumstances.
She is a single mother and the only worker in the family, working alone at Vienergy Company Limited (Phuc Son Industrial Park, Dong Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh) to have money to support her nearly 80-year-old mother and her daughter who is of school age (grade 11 - PV).
A natural disaster suddenly hit her family on the afternoon of December 2, while driving into the factory's parking lot to work as usual, Ms. Binh suddenly fell and died.
Many local people and colleagues in the company could not help but feel heartbroken because behind her was a small family that had already faced difficulties and now became even more miserable.
In the dilapidated house, Mrs. To Thi Hue, born in 1947 (Binh's biological mother), quickly wiped away her tears and said that all the work and burden in the family was borne by Ms. Binh alone.
"She worked alone to raise her child and take care of me. I am old so I often get sick. Her small salary as a worker is the only source of income for her parents, children, grandchildren to maintain their lives. Now that the disaster has hit, in the following days, we do not know how to cope with it. I am also at an age near the earth and far from heaven, not living long. What I worry about most is my niece Le Thi Huyen Trang. Then again, we don't know where our children's education will go in the future without their mother by their side" - Mrs. Hue said choking up.
Her colleagues at the company said that they rarely saw Ms. Binh rest. She works regularly, working overtime when possible to have enough money for medicine for her old mother and tuition for her daughter.
"The day she had an accident, all of our friends and colleagues in the company were shocked. No one would have thought that a surprising situation when she drove a motorbike into the company's parking lot as usual would take the life of that hard-working woman" - a colleague of Ms. Binh shared.
Her passing left a big gap in the small house, where her elderly mother and her older daughter were still. In the dilapidated house, her daughter's desks still have unfinished notebooks. The old mother calmly looked at her daughter's portrait, her eyes dizzy. The pain of loss is too great, but what makes many people more worried is the road ahead of the two weak relatives that Ms. Binh left behind.
As Lao Dong previously reported, at that time, Ms. Binh drove a motorbike from outside the gate to the company's parking lot to park the motorbike and go to the workshop. When approaching the bus station, Ms. Binh suddenly fell and was taken to the emergency room but died.
According to the Company's security camera, at the time of the incident, there were many other workers driving motorbikes into the parking lot to park. However, Ms. Binh's vehicle did not collide with any other vehicle.
