TKV spends an additional 30 billion to take care of workers during Tet At Ty

In addition to salaries and bonuses of subsidiaries and affiliated units, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group will spend 30 billion to take care of Tet At Ty for employees and organize many activities to celebrate Tet and welcome the New Year.

In order to better care for the material and spiritual life of cadres, workers and laborers in the whole Group, the General Director of the Group and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union agreed to develop a Joint Plan to organize activities to care for workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year - 2025.

With the theme "Miners' Tet - Celebrating the glorious Party" and the motto "All workers have Tet", Tet care is carried out synchronously from the department, construction site, workshop, unit to the Group level in flexible, public, transparent forms, suitable to the conditions and actual situation of the unit.

Activities to care for and support workers must be practical, effective, and targeted, with special attention paid to workers in especially difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, serious illnesses, those affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, and families with preferential policies...; at the same time, timely rewards and encouragement must be given to workers with outstanding achievements in production and business, and workers who must work and perform Tet duty at the unit.

For subsidiaries and affiliated units, based on business results and plan completion levels, proactively balance salary sources and bonus funds to supplement salaries and bonuses for employees at a rate of VND 10 million/person during the Lunar New Year.

Develop a plan for employees to register for Tet holidays and arrange a plan for transportation to pick up and drop off employees before and after Tet according to the unit's ability; support part or all of the train and bus tickets for employees to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet and return to work safely, in accordance with the needs of employees and the conditions of the unit; pay attention to employees who live in remote areas to have a plan to support transportation.

Organize spring and Tet activities, visit and encourage workers who are unable to return home for Tet, sick workers, workers with unstable work-related accidents who are being treated at medical facilities.

Develop a plan to organize activities to "celebrate the Party - celebrate Spring", enjoy Spring, celebrate Tet for workers in collective housing areas and apartment buildings of the unit; prepare conditions to organize activities such as year-end meetings, New Year's Eve, New Year's greetings for workers with the motto of practicality, safety and economy.

For the Group, support and give gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, low-income families, and outstanding workers with cash of VND 2 million/person; give Tet gift bags worth VND 0.5 million/bag to 1,700 workers participating in the Miners' Tet program.

Organize the program "Miners' Tet - Celebrating the glorious Party" in 6 regions: Cam Pha, Ha Long, Uong Bi, Thai Nguyen, Tay Bac, Tay Nguyen.

TKV Trade Union coordinated with Miners Transport and Shuttle Joint Stock Company and units in need of support for transporting workers home for Tet to come up with a plan to support bus tickets for workers to return home for Tet.

Handing over houses for the 2024 Trade Union Shelter to workers at locations where TKV organizes Miners' Tet.

Funding support to pay Lunar New Year money to employees of some units facing difficulties in production and business in 2024. The total amount that TKV plans to spend to take care of employees during Tet 2025 is about 30 billion VND, from the Parent Company - TKV's Centralized Welfare Fund and from the TKV Trade Union's budget.
