    Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

    Clause 10, Article 11 of the Trade Union Law (amended) 2024, effective from July 1, 2025, stipulates the forms of legal support of trade unions, including:

    a) Legal advice through guidance, giving opinions, supporting the drafting of documents related to disputes, complaints, and legal problems; guiding and helping the parties to reconcile, negotiate, and agree on a direction to resolve the case;

    b) Participate in litigation as a person protecting legal rights and interests or as a defender according to the provisions of law on litigation;

    c) Out-of-court representation before competent state agencies.

    Thus, the union provides legal support in the above form.
