Clause 1, Clause 2, Article 20 of Decree No. 374/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Employment on unemployment insurance stipulates the transfer of places to receive unemployment benefits as follows:
1. Employees who have received at least 01 month of unemployment benefits according to regulations and have a need to transfer the place to receive unemployment benefits to another province or centrally-run city must submit directly or through the National Public Service Portal to request transfer of unemployment benefits according to Form No. 19 issued together with this Decree and send it to the public employment service organization where they are receiving unemployment benefits.
2. Within 03 working days from the date of receiving the employee's request, the public employment service organization is responsible for sending a notice of the transfer of the place to receive unemployment benefits to the provincial-level Social Insurance to stop the payment of unemployment benefits according to Form No. 20 issued with this Decree, and at the same time sending a letter of introduction according to Form No. 21 issued with this Decree and the dossier of transfer of unemployment benefits to the public employment service organization where the employee transfers to:
Dossiers for transfer to receive unemployment benefits include:
a) Request to transfer the worker's place to receive unemployment benefits;
b) Letter of introduction to transfer to another place to receive unemployment benefits;
c) Photocopy of the decision to receive unemployment benefits;
d) Photocopy of decisions on vocational training support, decisions on temporary suspension of unemployment benefits, decisions on continued enjoyment of unemployment benefits (if any);
d) Monthly job search notification photocopy (if any), other documents in the unemployment benefit dossier.
Thus, if you have already received a month's unemployment benefits and have a need to transfer your benefit to another province, you need to prepare a dossier according to the above regulations.
