Clause 2, Article 41 of Circular 143/2023/TT-BQP on disciplinary action in the Vietnam People's Army stipulates disciplinary measures against soldiers who violate regulations in the field of information technology and ensure information security and network security as follows:
2. If violating one of the following cases, he will be subject to disciplinary action of being stripped of his military rank, stripped of his military title, and forced to quit his job
a) Having been disciplined but still violating;
b) Using electronic information pages and social networks to post, disseminate, comment, and share information contrary to the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's laws and policies; information related to State secrets and military secrets; news with distorted, fabricated content, insulting personal honor and reputation of organizations that negatively affect the image of soldiers and units; participating in forums and groups related to crimes, reactionary organizations, and political opponents;
c) De purposeously spreading malware or carrying out attacks and illegal intrusion into information systems.
Thus, soldiers who deliberately spread malware into the information system may have their military title revoked according to the above regulations.
