Currently, in Lien Chieu ward (Da Nang city), there is heavy rain, many roads are deeply flooded, especially the routes: Au Co, Road No. 4 Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Thanh Vinh 9 road, DT601 route through Van Duong 2 area and some other low-lying areas.

Lien Chieu Ward Police force has urgently deployed ropes and placed warning signs in deeply flooded areas to ensure safety for people and vehicles.
Local authorities recommend that people limit going out, do not move through flooded areas to avoid danger; at the same time, proactively raise furniture and vehicles, closely monitor the weather and recommendations of authorities.


On Au Co, Ton Duc Thang, Nam Tran routes... the water rose to the knees, many vehicles stalled in the water.
At the Hue Intersection overpass, the water level rose rapidly, making it impossible for many motorbikes and cars to move. The authorities and local people must help push the vehicle away and rescue damaged vehicles. Many people also tried to climb onto the sidewalk to avoid vehicles stalled.


On Au Co route (Hoa Khanh ward), water from the mountainous area flows down, creating a strong flow, making travel even more dangerous. Some residential areas and apartments in Hoa Khanh also recorded landslides and local flooding.




According to the Central Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 24 hours (from 7:00 a.m. on November 2 to 7:00 a.m. on November 3), Da Nang City has had heavy rain, very heavy rain such as: Ba Na 521.6mm, Nong Son 321.2mm, Thang Binh 389.0mm, Hoi An 298.4mm, Tam Ky 283.0mm...
In the next 6 hours, heavy to very heavy rain will be concentrated in the northern localities of the city, specifically: the East will generally have 60-100mm, some places will be higher than 130mm, the West will generally have 30-70mm. Southern localities generally have a height of 10-30, some places are 50mm higher.
In the next 6 hours, there is a risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams in mountainous areas; landslides on steep slopes, and land subsidence in many communes/wards of Da Nang city.
