While the Ministry of Health is focusing on completing the second facility project of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in Liem Tuyen Ward (Ninh Binh) to put it into operation on schedule, the work of preparing accommodation for staff and employees working at these two hospitals is also being actively implemented by Ninh Binh province.
Accordingly, Ninh Binh province has started construction and is directing investors and contractors to speed up the progress of the Social Housing Construction Investment Project for officers and doctors working at the second facility of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital with a total area of nearly 4,000m2, in Liem Tuyen Ward. The total investment of the project is more than 400 billion VND. The scale of the project includes 3 10-storey buildings, expected to provide about 650 modern, comfortable apartments to serve the housing needs of staff and employees at the above 2 hospitals.
Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - said that Ninh Binh province is currently focusing resources, directing contractors to speed up the progress to complete the project in early 2026.
Investing in the construction of this social housing area not only helps solve the urgent housing needs of the staff and medical staff of the two hospitals above, but is also a practical step to attract and retain high-quality human resources in the local health sector.This is a testament to the active participation of Ninh Binh provincial government in accompanying central hospitals in the province.
"The province has required contractors to work day and night to complete the project early, shortening the time by 1/3 compared to the original plan to soon inaugurate and put into use in early 2026. In addition, the province is also paying attention to directing the renovation of the campus and environmental landscape outside the hospitals. At the same time, directing competent agencies to arrange and organize traffic flow in front of hospital gates to be convenient, said Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc.
Mr. Le Duc Luan - Deputy Minister of Health - said that for the Bach Mai Hospital 2, the procurement contract for 82 equipment has been signed. The installation is expected to be completed before December 25, 2025. For the Viet Duc Hospital Project, Facility 2, negotiations on procurement contracts for 83 equipment have been completed and the signing of contracts must be completed before October 30, 2025. The installation is expected to be completed before December 25, 2025. Both projects will be completed before November 30, 2025.
