Faking security protection uniforms at the grassroots level is fined up to 10 million VND

Clause 3, Article 24 of Decree 282/2025/ND-CP (effective from December 15, 2025) stipulates as follows:

3. A fine of 5 million VND to 10 million VND for one of the following acts:

a) Illegally producing or forging uniforms, badges, badges, and signs of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level;

b) Delete, erase, and correct errors in the content of certificates of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

4. Additional forms of penalties:

Confiscating exhibits and means of administrative violations for violations specified in clauses 1 and 2, point a, clause 3 of this Article.

5. Remedial measures:

a) Forcing the return of illegal profits obtained from the act of violating the provisions of Clause 2, Point a, Clause 3 of this Article;

b) Forcing the return of the certificate of the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level for violations specified in point b, clause 3 of this Article.

Thus, from December 15, 2025, the counterfeiting of uniforms of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level may be fined up to 10 million VND.
