Clause 1, Article 12 of the 2025 Employment Law stipulates policies to support employment for young workers, accordingly, young people are supported with vocational training according to the Government's regulations in the following cases:
a) Youth who have completed military service and participated in the People's Police;
b) Volunteer youth complete tasks to implement socio-economic development programs and projects;
c) Young intellectuals volunteering after completing their tasks at the economic - defense zone.
Clause 1, Article 25 of Decree 338/2025/ND-CP detailing a number of articles of the Law on Employment on policies to support job creation, stipulates the content and level of vocational training support as follows:
1. Workers in rural areas, young workers who are eligible for support specified in Clause 1, Article 12 of Law No. 74/2025/QH15 are supported with elementary level training, training under 03 months, including:
a) Supporting training according to the actual tuition fee level of the training institution.
For workers in rural areas, the maximum training support level is 4 million VND/person/course.
For young workers, the support level does not exceed 12 months of the base salary, including the total support expenses specified in points a, b and c of this clause. In case of exceeding, priority is given to support payments in order of expenses in points a, b, and c of this clause.
In case of abolishing the base salary level, it will be implemented according to the reference level according to the Government's regulations.
b) Support for food and living expenses during the training period is 50,000 VND/person/day;
c) Supporting travel expenses for workers from their current residence to the training location according to the following norms: 200,000 VND/person/course for workers residing 15 km or more from the training location; 300,000 VND/person/course for workers residing in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions 5 km or more from the training location.
Thus, young people who complete military service are entitled to vocational training support levels according to the above regulations.
