Preferential allowances for teachers in public specialized schools and specialized classes

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 1, Official Dispatch No. 1678/SGDDT-TCCB dated August 22, 2025 of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City Regarding the approval of preferential allowances for teachers who are directly teaching in public educational institutions, stipulates the subjects and levels of preferential allowances as follows:

1.1. Specialized School/ Unit

- Teachers who are directly teaching specialized classes; schools and classes for the disabled and disabled; boarding schools for ethnic minorities are entitled to a 70% allowance;

- Teachers who are directly teaching at the school of physical education and sports are entitled to a 50% allowance;

- Teachers who are directly teaching non-professional classes at specialized schools are entitled to a 30% allowance.

1.1. Not-professional school but has specialized classes

- Teachers who are directly teaching specialized subjects of specialized classes are entitled to a 70% allowance;

- Teachers who are directly teaching non-professional classes are entitled to a 30% allowance.

Thus, the preferential allowance for teachers of public specialized schools and specialized classes in Ho Chi Minh City is regulated as above.
