On the afternoon of August 25, according to the operation report of Ho Ho Hydropower Plant (Ha Tinh), the lake water level is at the elevation of 62.12/70.00m, the water flow to the lake is 80m3/s, generated through a 4m3/s generator, not yet regulated through overflow.
The downstream water level was recorded at 21.70m. The rainfall measured from 0:00 to 16:00 on the same day was 74.4mm.
In the factory area, due to the impact of storm No. 5, there was light rain, strong winds, some trees were broken and uprooted, however, the project items are still operating normally.
In order to be proactive in regulating reservoirs and minimizing the impact caused by heavy rain on the project as well as the downstream area, the plant will regulate water through the spillway from 8:00 p.m. on August 25 with an expected flow from 20m3/s to 500m3/s, depending on the water flow to the lake.
