Regulations on the level of bonuses for Medals of all kinds from July 2025

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 51 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the bonus levels for Medals of all kinds as follows:

1. Individuals who are awarded or posthumously awarded Medals of all kinds are awarded Certificates, frames, and Medals with the following bonus levels:

a) Golden Star Medal: 46.0 times the basic salary;

b) Ho Chi Minh Medal: 30.5 times the basic salary;

c) First-class "Independence Medal", first-class "Military Medal": 15.0 times the basic salary;

d) Second-class "Independence Medal", second-class "Army Medal": 12.5 times the basic salary;

d) Third-class "Independence Medal", third-class "Army Medal": 10.5 times the basic salary;

e) First-class "Lover Medal", First-class "Officer Medal", First-class "Fatherland Protection Medal": 9.0 times the basic salary;

g) Second-class "Location Medal", Second-class "Hit Medal", Second-class "Fatherland Protection Medal", "National Great Unity Medal": 7.5 times the basic salary;

h) Third-class "Lover Medal", Third-class "Award Medal", Third-class "Fatherland Protection Medal" and "Courage Medal": 4.5 times the basic salary.

2. Collectives awarded Medals of all types are awarded Certificates, frames, and Medals with a bonus level twice the bonus level for individuals as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article.

Thus, from July 1, 2025, the bonus level of Medals of all kinds is regulated as above.
