Time for civil defense training for militia and self-defense forces

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 4, Article 5 of Circular 111/2025/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense (effective from January 1, 2026) stipulates the time for civil defense training for militia and self-defense forces as follows:

The civil defense training time is equal to 02% of the total military training time. The military training time is from 75% to 80% of the total training time for each subject.

a) First year of militia and self-defense forces, training 15 days/year (08 hours/day, 120 hours/year): Civil defense training time 02 hours/year.

b) Mobile, marine, and service militia (Air Defense, Artillery, Information, reconnaissance, Engineering, Defense, Health), training 12 days/year (08 hours/day, 96 hours/year): Civil defense training time is 1.5 hours/year.

c) On-site militia and self-defense forces, training 07 days/year (08 hours/day, 56 hours/year): Civil defense training time 01 hour/year.

d) Standing militia, Standing militia squadron, training 60 days/year (08 hours/day,480 hours/year): Civil defense training time is 07 hours/year.

Thus, the time for civil defense training for militia and self-defense forces is regulated as above.
