Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 176/2026/ND-CP (effective from July 7, 2026) stipulates preferential policies for lecturers, students, graduate students, research students, and management staff in the field of nuclear power, stipulating preferential treatment for college and university graduates who commit to working at nuclear power plants after graduation as follows:
a) Being tuition-free;
b) Being able to stay in a free dormitory;
c) Being allocated monthly living expenses equal to 2.0 times the base salary. Each year, living expenses are allocated according to the actual number of months of study at the school as prescribed, but one school year does not exceed 10 months;
d) Encouragement scholarships are awarded at 1.5 times the base salary for students with good academic performance; 2.0 times the base salary for students with excellent academic performance; 2.5 times the base salary for students with excellent academic performance. Scholarship consideration is carried out in the semester of the school year, considered twice a school year;
d) Being provided with free specialized nuclear power training textbooks;
e) Be prioritized to be sent for short-term internships at home and abroad if students in the final year of the training program achieve excellent academic performance or higher;
g) Being accepted to work at a nuclear power plant after graduation as committed.
Thus, from July 7, 2026, college and university students who commit to working at nuclear power plants after graduation will receive the above incentives.
