After the virtual filtering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology has made predictions about the benchmark scores of some majors at the school.
Accordingly, there are 2 majors that are predicted to have benchmark scores that can reach 29 or higher: Computer Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
Last year, at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the Computer Engineering major had a benchmark score of 28.48; Data Science and Artificial Intelligence had a benchmark score of 28.22.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, through virtual filtering, the school gave the expected admission standard scores from the 2025 graduation exam scores ranging from 17 to 24.5 points.
The majors expected to have a benchmark score of over 23 are: English Language, Chinese Language, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business Administration, E-commerce, Banking and Finance, Law, Economic Law, Information Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Food Technology, Tourism, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Restaurant and Food Service Management.
The majors expected to have benchmarks from 20 to under 23 are: Chinese Language, Food Processing Science, Thermal Engineering, Electrical - Electronics Engineering Technology, Data Science, Accounting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Information Security, Accounting, Financial Technology, Food Business Administration.
The remaining majors are expected to have benchmark scores from 17 to under 20.
For the admission plan based on transcripts, the expected admission score ranges from 21 to 26.5 points.
Accordingly, majors with expected benchmark scores above 25 are: English Language, Chinese Language, Marketing, International Business, E-commerce, Banking and Finance, Law, Economic Law, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Tourism, Tourism and Travel Services Management.
For the University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), after 11 virtual filtering sessions in the Southern region, the school has issued the school's expected benchmark score for this year.
Accordingly, the school's benchmark scores are expected to be between 24 and 29.55 points depending on the major.
Last year, the benchmark score for the Data Science major at the school was 27.5 points.
According to the new plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the admission period will be extended and increased by 4 virtual filters. After a total of 10 virtual filters, schools will announce scores from 12:30 on August 22 instead of from 5:00 p.m. on August 20 as originally planned.
