Accordingly, Nursing majors, Rehabilitation Engineering majors, Medical Testing Engineering majors and Medical Imaging Engineering majors have a floor score of 18 points.
In 2026, Tokyo Medical University Vietnam will conduct enrollment by admission consideration, specifically as follows:
- Direct admission according to the Enrollment Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Admission based on the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.
- Admission based on high school academic results (admission records).
- Admission based on the results of competency assessment tests organized by universities licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training, including:
Hanoi National University (HSA) competency assessment exam;
The competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education (SPT);

- Candidates are considered for equal admission between methods based on the converted equivalent admission score.
- Admission scores are calculated on a 30-point scale, including priority points and bonus points. In 2026, Tokyo Medical University Vietnam calculates bonus points (specifically bonus points) for candidates with Japanese language proficiency certificates (JLPT) as follows: N5: +0.5 points, N4: + 1 point, N3-N2-N1: +1.5 points).
- The school does not organize preliminary selection, does not apply additional auxiliary criteria outside the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Candidates can use one or more admission methods to jointly apply for admission to the University's majors.
