Admission combinations with Math and English subjects such as Math - English - Physics or Math - English - Literature are considered to have the possibility of a decrease in admission scores.
Some majors may decrease by about 2 points, but most have decreased slightly by 0.5 points compared to last year. The fluctuation of the benchmark score also depends on the competitiveness and the number of candidates registering for each specific major - Dr. Binh predicted.
Hanoi University of Construction
Forecasting the benchmark scores of Hanoi University of Construction, Mr. Bui Quang Trung - Deputy Head of the Department, Head of the Department of Communications and Admissions - said that based on the scores of this year's high school graduation exam, the benchmark scores are expected to decrease compared to last year. However, the reduction is not uniform depending on each major.
"It is predicted that the benchmark scores this year may be lower, but the reduction in each industry will be different" - Mr. Trung commented.
University of Electricity
Dr. Trinh Van Toan - Head of Training Management Department, University of Electricity commented that the school's 2025 university admission benchmark will likely have slight fluctuations compared to last year, depending on the candidate's preferential registration trend.
According to Mr. Toan, after the school conducted a preliminary survey, it showed that many traditional majors still maintain a stable attraction. In particular, majors in the engineering - technology group are continuing to attract a large number of candidates such as Information Technology, Logistics, Electrical Engineering - Automation...
For hot majors such as the engineering - technology industry group, the possibility of a deep decrease in the benchmark score will be very low. We predict that the standard score this year can be kept stable or slightly reduced depending on the major" - Dr. Toan said.

University of Economics and Technology
Dr. Vu Hong Thanh - Head of the Department of Admissions, Communications and External Affairs, University of Economics and Technology of Industry said that the school expects the benchmark score this year to decrease. In particular, some of the school's top majors may decrease by more than 1 point compared to last year, while other majors are expected to decrease by about 1 point.
University of Mining and Geology
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Viet Ha - Head of the Department of Corporate Public Relations, University of Mining and Geology said that based on this year's exam scores, the school's admission scores in 2025 for major are likely to be equivalent to or slightly lower than last year.
