Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, has just signed and issued an official dispatch (Officer Dispatch No. 622/UBND-CATP- dated July 30), requesting agencies and units in the area to limit the request for people to provide unnecessary Judicial Records, causing difficulties and arising costs.
According to this document, the City People's Committee strongly directs the reduction and simplification of regulations related to Judicial Records. Notably, when implementing 154 administrative procedures under Directive 23 of the Prime Minister, agencies are not required to submit paper-based Judicial Records.
Instead, Da Nang promotes the use of electronic methods. People can present an electronic criminal record issued on the VNeID electronic identification and authentication application when performing administrative procedures. This is an important step to reduce the burden of documents, save time and costs for citizens.
To effectively implement, the City People's Committee assigned the City Police to preside over and promote propaganda so that people understand and use VNeID for the requirement to issue Judicial Records, with the goal of increasing the implementation rate via this application to over 80%. At the same time, the City Police must coordinate with relevant units to speed up the progress of cleaning up criminal records and removing criminal records, thereby shortening the processing time and issuing votes to people.
The Department of Science and Technology is assigned to ensure the city's administrative procedure settlement information system operates smoothly, ready for connection, sharing and reuse of data.
This is one of the solutions in administrative reform, aiming to build an e-government to serve, taking people as the center, minimizing unnecessary procedural barriers... of Da Nang.
