New adjustments in admission methods
The Academy of Public Administration and Management has just announced the enrollment plan for the regular university system in 2026. This year, the school plans to enroll students by 4 methods:
- Method 1: Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2026
- Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results (class records)
- Method 3: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training
- Method 4: Combined admission (combining items a, b with high school transcripts):
a) Results of the competency assessment exam of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City organized in 2026
b) International English Certificate
Compared to 2025, in the combined admission method, the school has removed the consideration for the Excellent Student Award/Technical Science.
For Ba Ria - Vung Tau University, in 2026, the school expands the admission method. Specifically:
- Method 1: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Method 2: Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam;
- Method 3: High school transcript admission;
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of competency assessment exams
- Method 5: General admission combined with multiple criteria.
Thus, the school expands the form of admission based on the scores of the competency assessment exam and comprehensive admission combined with many criteria.
Expanding training disciplines
University of Finance - Marketing has also just announced that for university enrollment in 2026, the school plans to enroll about 6,500 students, an increase of 1,700 compared to 2025.
In which 5 admission methods are applied, including:
- Method 1: Direct admission according to the regulations of the Enrollment Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (Admission method code: 301).
- Method 2: Admission based on high school academic results (class records) (Admission method code: 200).
- Method 3: Admission based on the results of the Aptitude Assessment exam of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Admission method code: 402).
- Method 4: Admission based on the results of the University Entrance Examination on computer (V-SAT exam) (Admission method code: 416).
- Method 5: Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam (Admission method code: 100).
This year, the school plans to open 7 new majors: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Auditing, Economic Management, Economic Law, Economic Mathematics and Political Economics.
The University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) also plans to open a number of training majors from 2026, including: Digital Economy major, Accounting and Data Analysis major, Law and Technology major.
