Enrollment 2026: A series of new points in the plans of universities

Expanding training disciplines

Nghe An University has just announced information on regular university admissions in 2026. Accordingly, the school enrolls 22 undergraduate training majors and 1 college major with 5 admission methods:

- Method 1 (Admission method code 301 - Admission for training majors outside of preschool education undergraduate system): Direct admission.

- Method 2 (Admission method code 200 - Admission for non-pedagogical training majors): Admission using high school academic results (admission records):

Based on high school academic results: Candidates have an admission score which is the total average score of grade 12 of 3 subjects according to the admission combination (in which the common number of subjects of the combinations contributes 50% of the calculation of admission scores) plus regional priority points, priority subject points (if any).

- Method 3 (Code of admission method 100 - Admission for training majors outside of preschool education): Admission using the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

- Method 4 (Admission method code 402 - Admission for non-pedagogical training majors):

Considering the results of the competency assessment test of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam National University Hanoi; the results of the thinking assessment test of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

- Method 5 (Admission method code 405 - For preschool education): Combining the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam with aptitude test scores.

The list of regular university training majors applied in the 2026 enrollment period includes: Primary Education, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance and Banking, E-commerce...

Some training majors expected to be opened include: Preschool Education (university system), Political Science, Literature, Mathematics.

New adjustments in admission methods

Hanoi Architectural University has just announced the expected regular university enrollment information for 2026. Specifically as follows:

a) Method 1: Admission consideration using the results of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

b) Method 2: Combining high school graduation exam results with aptitude test scores in 2026.

c) Method 3: Direct admission and Priority admission

d) Other methods: Considering applications combined with direct interviews according to the regulations of partner schools applied to international liên kết programs.

Compared to 2025, the school no longer considers academic transcripts separately. However, candidates submitting academic transcript results online are considered for bonus points in many majors, based on the 6-period academic transcript scores of subjects belonging to the combination. Specifically, the school adds 1.5 points for candidates with academic transcript scores in the top 10%, adds 1.2 for top 20% candidates and adds 1 point for top 30%.

Regarding combinations, this year Hanoi Architectural University removed the THM combination (Math, Literature, Technology). Instead, the school added block A01 (Math, Physics, English).

The Academy of Cryptography Techniques has just announced information for regular university admissions in 2026. Specific admission methods are as follows:

Method 2: Admission based on high school graduation exam scores in 2026

Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment test or thinking assessment of one of the units: Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi University of Science and Technology organized.

Thus, after many years of only enrolling with high school graduation exam scores, the Academy of Cryptography Techniques this year uses 4 more exam scores for competency assessment and thinking assessment.
