At noon on October 4, Phi Nhung's three adopted daughters, Quynh Trang, Tuyet Nhung, and Thieng Ngan, met with the media to share about the live show "Dau an cung to hoa dieu" taking place on October 12 at Ben Thanh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the press conference, the organizers said that the live show of Quynh Trang, Tuyet Nhung, and Thieng Ngan will combine many performances, including songs that recall the career of the late singer Phi Nhung so that the audience who loved the voice of Bong dien dien can listen to it again. However, the organizers also considered not to dwell on the story of the late artist Phi Nhung's passing because they did not want the live show to have an atmosphere that was too sad and tearful.
In addition, the show will feature three veteran names including Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, Meritorious Artist Thoai My, and artist Trung Dan.
Responding to an interview with Lao Dong Newspaper about the participation of artist Hoai Linh, Mr. Thanh Huy - cousin of the late singer Phi Nhung, representative of the organizing committee said: "Artists Hoai Linh and Trung Dan will collaborate with the three adopted daughters of singer Phi Nhung to perform the play "Te hon vo thang Dau" - this is a play associated with the career of the late singer Phi Nhung and will be performed again in a new style".
In addition, the organizers also said that inviting the three artists, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, Meritorious Artist Thoai My, and artist Trung Dan, to the show was not difficult because they were all close to the late artist Phi Nhung and also loved the three adopted daughters of the late artist.
Regarding the salary, the organizers added that the artists will all receive "family style" salary, not asking for much.
Also according to the organizers, when the live show was announced, many audiences called to book tickets because they loved the three singers Quynh Trang, Tuyet Nhung, Thieng Ngan and the late singer Phi Nhung.
Although up to now, the adopted children of the late singer Phi Nhung have all gone their separate ways, Quynh Trang, Tuyet Nhung and Thieng Ngan are all focusing on their artistic careers so that one day in the not too distant future they will achieve milestones and leave an impression on the audience like what Phi Nhung once achieved.
