Nguyen Thi Dung, stage name Ha Linh, 2nd Runner-up of the Miss Vietnam Global 2022 contest, has just been sentenced to 18 years in prison by the Hai Phong City People's Court for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property", and forced to return more than 5 billion VND to the victims.
Ha Linh had committed fraud in selling project land, appropriating money from two women in Hai Phong. This behavior caused her to suffer a severe sentence.
Ha Linh was born in 1981, and was the Director of HD Finance and Real Estate Group (HD Land) Limited, headquartered in Hai Phong.
Before getting into the wrongful round, Ha Linh had participated in a number of artistic activities and beauty pageants.
Miss Vietnam Global 2022 is the first contest that Ha Linh will participate in, held on April 26, 2022 in Da Nang. In this contest, Ha Linh won the 2nd runner-up prize.
When participating in the Miss Vietnam Global 2022 contest, Ha Linh shared her desire to honor the image of brave Vietnamese women in the new era.
After that, she was invited to participate in community beauty activities, playing the role of an advisory board member at the Miss Vietnam Global Businesswoman 2024 contest, supporting contestants and sharing experiences.
