Representatives of the Dien Bien Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center said that the flower street is arranged along both sides of Be Van Dan street (next to Muong Thanh bridge, Muong Thanh pedestrian street and tourist market).
With a length of more than 30 meters on each side, this project is an important landscape highlight during Tet this year.
Although newly opened, the flower street has attracted a large number of people to visit and take photos. According to observations, the main types of flowers on display include chrysanthemum morifolium, poinsettia, azalea... arranged in colorful layers.
Ms. Mai Anh, Dien Bien Phu ward said: "This is the first time I have seen Dien Bien province have a large, beautiful and well-invested flower street like this during the Lunar New Year after many years. The location brings a feeling of excitement to people to celebrate spring and welcome Tet.
According to records, the time when the flower street is most crowded is usually around 8-9 am and 4-7 pm. Many young people and families take advantage of this time to take photos and check-in to save beautiful spring moments.
According to the plan, the flower street will be open to serve people traveling in spring until the end of February 26 (ie, the 10th day of the first lunar month).
Besides the flower street highlight, Dien Bien province also organizes the 2026 Spring Fair, taking place from February 10-15 (ie from December 23-28 of the lunar calendar). The fair is held on Nguyen Huu Tho street (Muong Thanh bridge intersection) with an expected scale of over 100 booths.
Here, people can access a variety of industries from consumer goods, food, decorations, fashion, cosmetics, electronics, refrigeration to flowers, ornamental plants and fruits serving Tet.
