On February 8, Dien Bien Provincial Police said that from 3-9 am on the same day, at Km379+250 National Highway 6 (Quei To commune) and Km135 National Highway 12 (Na Sang commune), Task Force 1266 of the Provincial Police organized patrols, inspections, and combined professional measures.
Through inspection, 6 cases of transporting food of unknown origin and origin, without labels or inspection, with a total volume of more than 1 ton, including pork, chicken, duck, and muscovy duck, were discovered. These foods were bought at cheap prices and transported to Dien Bien province for processing and consumption.
The working group made an initial record of the incident, and handed it over and coordinated with the Market Management force to continue handling it in accordance with the law.
Previously (January 14), in Quai To commune, Market Management Team No. 2, Provincial Market Management Sub-Department coordinated with Task Force 1266 of the Provincial Police to inspect passenger cars circulating on National Highway 279.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered in the trunk of the car 5 styrofoam boxes containing more than 384 kg of raw food of unknown origin.
