According to the Organizing Committee, only 4.5% of entries were selected and only winning photos were displayed at Woodmere Art Museum, a museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, a certification currently only about 3% of museums out of a total of about 33,000 museums in the United States have achieved. The Photo Review is a competition highly appreciated by art photographers and curators for being associated with a 50-year-old critic magazine, a high-quality judging panel and exhibitions at prestigious museums. In 2026, the judge is Dr. Sarah Kennel, a curator who used to work at the National Gallery of Art, High Museum of Art and is currently an expert at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. The work "Remains" won the second prize in the leading Australian photo contest - Head On Photo Awards, with honorary color photos 1839 Awards (USA) awarded by the New York Times, Getty Images... and exhibitions in some countries around the world.
