Speaking at the program, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung shared: "100 years is enough time for a seed to sprout into an ancient tree, for a silent flow to turn into a large river rolling with alluvium. That year, from the first newspaper named Thanh Nien in 1925 founded and led by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has matured and always accompanied the country's people, becoming a pioneer in the Party's cultural ideological front and making outstanding contributions to the country's revolutionary development journey.
The press has always played a pioneering role, leading the way, accompanying implementation, and behind in supporting. For 100 years, revolutionary journalism has been a fulcrum to continue on a new journey that is deeper, more creative, more inspiring, more professional, and humane".
Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that literature and journalism art both have a close and strong relationship, both with the cultivation of ideological, emotional and aesthetic views. The special art program aims at combining the past and present, and is also a tribute to the courage of being a journalist, looking back on the journalism journey from the early days to modern times.

Looking back on the 100-year journey, starting from Le Paria (People of the same suffering) - the mouthpiece of the Union of Colonies in France in 1922. This newspaper was founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc and a number of progressive activists. He has written many articles in French, raised his voice to fight for the right to life of the ethnic groups in the colony, and laid the first bricks for the revolutionary newspaper ideology.
4 years later, the Founder of Thanh Nien - the first issue appeared on June 21, 1925, the mouthpiece of the Vietnam Youth Revolutionary Association. With more than 2,000 articles, more than 170 titles and 9 newspapers he founded, President Ho Chi Minh is a great journalist, the one who laid the foundation for the Vietnamese revolutionary press.
Honoring the contributions of Vietnamese revolutionary press over the past 100 years, the art program is like a heroic reenactment of the journey of fighting and serving generations of Vietnamese journalists.
The artists participating in the program come from many generations, such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Khanh Ngoc, Viet Danh, Xuan Hao, Thu Hang, Thu An, Hai Anh, Phuc Dai; groups: Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam; along with dance groups and ensembles from the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater.
