Stage reunion explodes after many years of waiting
On April 13 (Vietnam time), BigBang officially reunited at Coachella 2026 with a 3-member lineup including G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung. This is the first time the group has performed at a top music festival in the world after the "missed appointment" in 2020.
In about 60 minutes, the trio "burned" the Outdoor Theatre stage with a series of hits associated with their names such as Bang Bang Bang, Fantastic Baby, Sober, Haru Haru, Lies... The songs are remixed in a new way, creating an atmosphere that is both explosive and emotional, as a way to look back at the group's 2-decade journey.

Not only impressing with music, BigBang also conquered the audience with their top-notch performance style. Taeyang stirred up the atmosphere with his energetic solo performance, G-Dragon continuously interacted with fans, while Daesung brought a close, emotional color. Before the enthusiastic cheers, the members could not hide their emotions when sharing that they had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
Social networks immediately "stirred up" after the trio's reunion. Millions of online views and countless emotional comments and praises show the irreplaceable attraction of BigBang, affirming the group's special position in the hearts of the global public.

20-year journey and a much anticipated return
Debuting in 2006 under the management of YG Entertainment, BigBang quickly went beyond the framework of a regular idol group to become a symbol shaping a K-pop generation.
From the early years, the group made a difference by deeply participating in music composition and production, with G-Dragon playing the role of creative center. Songs like Lies, Haru Haru or Last Farewell... not only helped BigBang dominate the charts but also blew a new breeze into the Korean music market, opening up a unique and "one-of-a-kind" direction in K-pop at that time.

The 2012-2015 period marked a strong international step forward with the album Alive and the MADE project, bringing hits like Bang Bang Bang, Loser or Sober to the global scene. Not only stopping at music, BigBang also has a profound influence on fashion and popular culture, especially with the iconic image of G-Dragon's style.
However, the group's 20-year journey also went through many upheavals. The 5-member lineup gradually changed when Seungri left the group in 2019 and T.O. P confirmed leaving in 2023. Currently, BigBang operates with a 3-member lineup, opening a new chapter after many ups and downs.

Coachella 2026 stage is not just a performance, but also has a meaning as an affirmation of BigBang's position after two decades of operation. Although not a headliner, the group still becomes the center of media attention, attracting tens of thousands of spectators and creating a strong effect on social networking platforms.
The moment G-Dragon announced "BigBang is back" amidst a sea of fans is considered the emotional highlight of the show, marking the group's official return after a long period of interruption.

Stepping into 2026 - the 20-year milestone, BigBang is preparing for big plans such as a commemorative album and a global tour. The Coachella stage therefore becomes the opening for a new chapter, where the group recalls the past, lives the moment of the present and together looks to a bright future.
Previously, Korean media reported that BigBang would release a new song at Coachella. However, in the first performance night, the group only performed familiar hits. This made fans continue to place high expectations on the group's second stage at Coachella, scheduled to take place on April 19.
After the event, BigBang will reappear with a three-member lineup. In the video announcing YG Plan 2026 on YG Entertainment's YouTube channel on April 3, producer Yang Hyun Suk confirmed that the group will hold a world tour to celebrate 20 years of operation.
