The group BTS has just officially reunited fully on the cover of GQ magazine March issue 2026.

This appearance quickly attracted the attention of global fans, as the members for the first time shared about their journey back after a period of focusing on military service and personal projects.

Seven members including RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook said they had a focused working period in Los Angeles for two months to prepare for the new album. RM described the serious work schedule as "a disciplined business", with morning practice sessions, studio work in the afternoon and lasting until late at night.

The working atmosphere reminds the members of their internships, but now comes with experience and global position. Looking back at the album production process, RM compares composing to "gold digging", showing great expectations for the upcoming studio product as well as the world tour expected to follow.

The interview also mentioned the mental pressure during the process of returning with the new album. RM admitted that he had thought many times about stopping activities due to pressure, but the members always supported each other. V shared that even though they were joking on the outside, behind them they still empathize and overcome difficulties together. Internal cohesion is considered a factor helping the group maintain spirit and long-term orientation.

Military service time brings members close experiences with daily life. SUGA said he maintains serious personal discipline, while j-hope and Jimin see this as a challenging period but helps them mature both in thinking and emotions.

During the group's break, each member pursues solo projects, expanding personal artistic colors.

The group's new studio album is scheduled to be released on March 20 with the title ARIRANG, inspired by traditional Korean folk songs, symbolizing reunion and connection. According to members, this project reflects the desire to return to its roots and open a new chapter in their career.

Although considering sending an album to participate in major awards, RM emphasized that the top priority is still to reconnect with the audience. For BTS, this reunion is not only a musical milestone but also an important step in the journey to accompany global fans.
