According to media reports, Kpop group BTS has partnered with American DJ and music producer Diplo for their upcoming full studio album "Arirang".
Diplo directly revealed that he participated in producing some songs in BTS's 5th studio album.
In a recent interview, when attending the "2026 Fanatics Super Bowl Party" event, Diplo shared behind-the-scenes stories about working with the global group.
He said: "I have been making music for 30 years and feel extremely lucky to collaborate with such a wonderful group to create good music products together.
He also expressed strong confidence in BTS's new album: "Honestly, the whole world will be shocked". At the same time, the American producer called "Arirang" "the craziest album ever".
Diplo praised the level of participation of BTS members in the creative process: "All members are very good in their fields. They are extremely creative," he added that their level is "unbelievable".
Diplo especially praised Jungkook, he shared: "Jungkook has a perfect voice, no need for auto-tune". He also emphasized the diversity and comprehensive artistic ability of the whole group.
This producer also mentioned the scale of the collaboration: "Working with BTS is the biggest project I have ever done to date", thereby further increasing fans' expectations for the album.
According to the plan, BTS will release the album "Arirang" on March 20. On March 21, the group is expected to hold a performance stage to celebrate their return at Gwanghwamun Square (Seoul, Korea), broadcast live globally on Netflix.
